The personal ramblings of a struggling artist and accidental businessman. I am kind of clumsy and easily distracted so often get paint on myself. As I cuddle my kids at night I have often heard one of them exclaim, "You have paint!" Just before they start to try to pull or scratch it off. Usually they take some of my hair or skin off too.

One more
One more completed piece for Friday. 'Insecure' 18" x 24".
Had to smile, that little bird does indeed look "Insecure". Love the detailed little branches. How many does this make? Anxious to see Ollie's room and the progress there. And all of you of course
I agree with Judy. I too thought the bird looked "insecure" and I actually felt that emotion in response to looking at the painting. That's one of the things I love about art-any kind of art, is how it can make me feel such an array of emotions and leave me inspired, happy or contemplative and quiet. I'm so glad that you started this blog so that we can all enjoy your talents - even us stay at home moms that don't get out much.
Loved this one in "real life". The art show was so good, it was fun to see the paintings and the people. Thanks for inviting us early so we could plan and be there. Thanks also for the rest of the weekend. IT was FABULOUS!
