'Magpie in Aspen (blue-green)' 48" x 60"

I actually finished this piece last week. I have set a goal to finish 3 paintings a week. I have found that when I am under pressure, I tend to have more success. This week however I was able to finish exactly ... zero, paintings. I have two quite close...

I love the deal in this painting. I love how you put in a lot of details but it isn't "busy". I love that there is still room for my imagination to fill in more details. I love the lone bird. I can't tell the color from the picture, glad you told its color. I love my painting more and more. Thanks again for it.

Although you didn't finish any (that's debatable... I think one of them is done), I think you've learned a lot. I'm pretty excited about all the colors you are using on the new pieces.

THREE A WEEK? What are you superhuman? I can't believe that! Although, I can really relate to performing better under pressure, I have to do that to myself all the time.

This is such a special painting. There is such a dreamy, ethereal quality to it. It really beings to mind a feeling of the season.
